A brief history of Chelsea Old Town Hall
Designed by Leonard Stokes, the Chelsea Old Town Hall was completed in 1908 and houses the Chelsea Registry Office, the Sports Centre and Chelsea Library. It is named the 'Old Town Hall' to distinguish it from the Chelsea Town Hall (slightly less pretty and located on the opposite side of the borough).
The Chelsea Old Town Hall is an affordable yet elegant setting for a diverse range of events. Wedding ceremonies and receptions, antique and art fairs, concerts, film, television and radio filming and recording, business conferences and product launches have all been hosted by Chelsea Old Town Hall.
